I currently live in the Phoenix area. I am a kindergarten teacher but have worked with a wide variety of ages. I first started childcare when I was 18 at a daycare throughout college. In the daycare setting I have worked with infants up to age 10. Now that I am a teacher I have had the opportunity to work with students up to age 14. I was a volleyball coach for two years for our middle school aged students at Laveen Elmentary where I work. Then this past year I ran a storytelling club afterschool which focused on self-esteem building and literacy skills.
I have always enjoyed working with children whether it be teaching or spending time doing activities. I always think it is fun to spend time outdoors and really like doing arts and crafts as well.
