My name is Taryn. I am currently a teacher and have been for over 8 years. I would like to spend more one on one time with children, instead of a large classroom. I would like to work part time if possible, because I have another side job as well. I also have my own business as a face painter for birthdays and festivals on the weekends. I can babysit on the weekend nights some weekends.
I love to come up with age appropriate activities for children, such as: fun art, cooking, science projects, get the kids active with yoga and playing games or going outside when its cooler, and help them learn: counting/numbers, letters, Sign Language, some Spanish, etc. I have several boxes of curriculum ideas from when I was a teacher that I can implement. I think manners and cooperating together to clean up and sharing are important things to teach as well. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
