Hi! My name is Brettney. I am 22 years old and I am a student studying Child and Family Development at San Diego State University. I love having fun with children, and I feel that my my main strength comes from my background in early childhood education. I have been a teacher for most age levels, from toddlers to twelfth graders. I love being with children and understand the balance between having fun and setting limits. As a preschool teacher I have dealt with power struggles and have learned to work with many different family cultures and values. I am very creative and love music and arts and crafts. Your child(ren) will definitely have some new project or song to show you when you get back home. I have experience as a tutor and would be willing to help with homework or any educational needs your child(ren) has/have. I have a passion for education, so while your child(ren) is/are with me I would make sure to create fun activities that also help them develop skills in any areas that may need improvement.
