While I was a teen, I babysat neighboorhood children and enjoyed taking on the role of mother's helper, but I have gained the most valuable experience from my own two children. I have a daughter who is five and my son is two. Over the last two years through working in my daughters preschool classroom weekly, I have learned to deal with a diverse group of child personalities. I have also cared for another toddler full time and even overnight for the last two years. From swimming to steam train rides, we are always taking little field trips so the kids get a chance to learn and explore new things. I'm currently a fulltime student, but am able to keep my schedule very flexible, because the classes are online.
