My name is Lauren and I'm currently working part time in retail on Larchmont Boulevard in Los Angeles. I graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in the spring of 2011.
My experience with children was extensive throughout my high school years and I find that to this day what I'm best at doing is taking care of children.
I have the high energy to keep up with them, and keep them physically and mentally stimulated, especially if your concern is making sure your child is always actively learning. I enjoy nutrition and continue to learn about it. I can cook a lot of healthy food. I also practice hoop dancing and poi spinning which are both great workouts for the body and mind of children. I believe that kids have the potential to learn anything!
In the past I've had experience babysitting kids in their own home, as well as watching over groups of children while helping them all with their homework at the same time, so handling multiple children is not a problem for me.
I'm currently waiting on a class on 12/18/2011 to earn first aid/CPR certification.
