My name is Amanda, but most of my kids call me Manda. I say "my kids" because once I start working for a family I fall in love everytime, and I consider them just as precious as my own would be if I had any. I am 26 years old, happily married, and used to own my own pet business. Every family brings its own unique contribution to the world in the form of a child and they all have their special quirks :)

Since my husband is former military we have bounced around a lot. We just moved to California from Washington. We were only in WA for a few months and I did very little babysitting.

Before moving to Washington state, I lived in Virginia Beach, VA and worked for 2 wonderful families. Each had 2 children that were school age and I adored them! I worked full-time, balanced everyone's schedules, and even ran my own business.

Before Virginia, I lived in  Pensacola, Florida. When I lived there I was a part-time childcare provider for several different families and also worked as a supervisor in a daycare.

Before Pensacola I spent two years as a full time live-in nanny for a family of 6 in Baltimore, Maryland. As a live-in nanny for a professional family I had 4 beautiful kids ages 3,5,7, and 12 and they were a blast. I still go visit them!

I loved my job, and I am not quite ready to give it up yet. I can start working for you immediately w/ a minor exception. I have my own insured vehicle, a 2009 Ford Focus that is my pride and joy. I also have a 3 month old German Shepherd, a 5yr old black lab and 10 yr old mutt that have the same status as my car, so pets are more than acceptable!

I am a very organized and flexible person who will do most anything to help you out. At my previous job I did most of the housework, while balancing the kids and their schedules. You could say I am seasoned at worst! !

I love what I do! I get on the floor and play, love to read to kids, and have a knack for coming up with fun, creative, hilarious, and sometimes crazy games to play with children. I am very loyal and hardworking. I am a 4.0 student, so tutoring with homework is not a problem. I am also a musician and an athlete. So I can keep up with your kids and teach them the treble cleft.
