I have been babysitting for the past 15 years.  I was with one family full-time for 5 years (1 boy aged 16 months - 6 years old with Asperger's Syndrome and 1 girl aged 8 years old - 13 years old) and another family part-time for the past 9 years (1 boy aged 8 months - 8 years old and another boy aged 8 years old - 16 years old with Autism).  I have also worked on an occasional basis for several other families. 

Although I have no formal training in Early Childhood Education, I do have quite a bit of informal training/experience.  I've worked with children with special needs and played a very active role in their therapies, education & development.  I also assisted my sister in her studies obtaining an ECE (Early Childhood Education) certificate.

I am very caring and patient with children and am very hands-on; I really enjoy being involved and interacting rather than just "babysitting". I like to do educational activities with children, but I also like to have fun!  I enjoy going to the park, pier, aquariums, museums, etc.
