I'm originally from upstate New York and moved to California almost six years ago after graduating from Syracuse University in May 2006 with a dual major in sociology and public relations. I started my professional life in San Diego working for Scripps Health, a nonprofit health care system doing public relations and regularly cared for the families of many of my colleagues and their friends through referrals. Almost 2.5 years ago I moved up to San Francisco and now work at an advertising agency in the business affairs department. I love San Francisco and it feels more like home every day.
Children have always been a big part of my life. I have attended and volunteered at safety, athletic, theatrical, overnight and day camps; coordinated birthday parties at a "kids zone" center; and taught the American Red Cross Learn to Swim program to kids of all ages for seven years. I have a lot of great experience and truely enjoy spending time with children.
I have been described as engaging, caring and fun, and have been consistently told I am a "natural" when it comes to children.

I hired Jaime to babysit during my kid-friendly wedding reception, where she was in charge of watching over any of the 11 children who chose to play or nap in the kids' area. As the bride, I was busy doing other things and barely interacted with Jaime, but I know she did a fantastic job because so many of the parents approached me afterward to tell me what a great job she did. Some even expressed surprise at how well their children got along with her, considering some of them were very shy kids. Thanks to Jaime, many of the parents were able to have a stress-free time and enjoy themselves at the wedding. - Donna S.
