I was lucky to find Rose to watch my two children while I was out of the country for 3 weeks. Rose was flexible and willing to basically be the “Mom” while I was away. She cooked wonderful homemade nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. She did the laundry, picked up the kids from school, drove them around to their various events and helped them with their homework. Rose engaged with the kids, watched movies with them and fit in well with the family. I wanted a mature, experienced, responsible person watching my family, especially since I was going to be out of the country. I have had issues with some younger sitters canceling at the last minute or calling in sick with no notice etc. I knew I could count on Rose after talking to her on the phone and then meeting her, she had been in the work force and has a strong work ethic, not to mention the fact that she has raised children of her own. That means a lot to me as a mother and gave me great peace of mind to know that my children were happy and having Rose there was the next best thing to having their mother home. Rose even bonded with our little Yorkie, he is pretty attached to me but quickly became fond of Rose. My husband works odd hours and does not get home until 8pm in the evening. Rose made a nice dinner for the kids every night and there was plenty left over for my hungry and appreciative husband. Rose was only there to watch the kids, the extra bonus was the care my dog received and the good meals my husband ate. The hours were long and keeping up with two busy kids is not easy, Rose exceeded our expectations in every way. She is kind, sweet and as I mentioned, a great cook! Rose will be the first person I call when I need a sitter again. I highly recommend Rose to any family who needs an experienced mom around when you are away for a few hours or a few weeks!
