Hello Families!
I am 26 years old and a graduate from Jamestown College back home in North Dakota with my bachelor's degree in Communication. I have many years of childcare experience working with children of all ages (infants - teens) including 3 years as a lifeguard/swim instructor, 4 years working at a school for children and young adults with severe physical and/or mental disabilities, and a summer as a nanny for a family with 3 young children in Irvington, NY.
I have always had a passion for working with children, and there are few things I find more rewarding than being a positive influence in their lives.
I love being active (especially outdoors), and I think it's important for kids to be too. I also love cooking, reading, music, and anything crafty or hands-on and try to get the children I'm caring for involved in any of those things whenver I get the chance.
I'm an animal lover (all kinds), and I have no problem caring for them or helping with laundry or other light house cleaning while I'm on the job. I like to stay busy!
I'm currently working full-time at a restaurant in the City Park neighborhood, but I'm looking for a wonderful, active family to help out about 10-15 hours a week who would be willing to work around my schedule!
I'd love to hear from you!
She didn't show up or call for a scheduled interview. It's too bad because we were really looking forward to meeting her. - Cheri D.
Lyndsey says: An explanation was provided for this mishap later. I was dealing with news a family emergency back home. It is not like me to miss an important meeting or interview with someone. I am a very responsible adult.

Lyndsey is a wonderful young lady and an excellent caregiver. We have used Lyndsey several times to care for our 10 month old and 3 1/2 year old boys. She is extremely prompt and responsible. My boys took to her instantly and she is very intune with their needs. She prepared meals for them, played games and built "towers" with my 3 1/2 yr old. When my husband and I returned from our date night both kids were sleeping soundly in their beds and the house was neat and orderly. I highly recommend her for any parent who is searching for a sitter who is professional, prompt and friendly! Thank you, Lyndsey for taking such good care of my little guys. We think the world of you. - Shana C.
Lyndsey was awesome! She did a week of childcare in our home and both my girls loved her. She was responsible, reliable, and trustworthy. Both girls were sad on her last day. - Sheila R.
For 3 years I worked as a lifeguard/swim instructor and in the daycare of the local YMCA where I helped care for children of all ages, for 4 years after that I worked at a school for children and young adults with severe physical and mental disabilit
