Hi my name is Jen. I'm a mother of 4 wonderful kids: a 15 yr old daughter, twin 12 yr old daughters and a 6 yr old son. With 4 kids I drive a minivan and have several extra car seats. My schedule is pretty flexible. I am the oldest of 5 girls. I have been babysitting since I was 12 yrs and started doing childcare when my oldest was 6 months old. I've cared for children, ranging from 3 weeks to 14 yrs old. Over the years I have worked all kinds of hours: part-time, full-time, split shift and over night. My duties have included: getting children ready for school, dropping off and picking up from school, meal and snack preparation, nap time, light housecleaning, homework help, running small errands and helping with bedtime routines. Keeping the kids active and entertained is very important to me. I like doing lots of arts and craft projects including educational activities. Being outdoors is equally as important with trips to the park, taking walks, etc. I have also brought kids on day trips, to playgroups, library, play dates etc. I understand trust is important and that children need to feel comfortable with me. Taking care of children is an extremely rewarding job.
