Jillian T. Babysitter in Hartford, CT 06105. Looking for work as a babysitter.

I have been a babysitter since I was in middle school, and have babysat for approximately 10 families in different cities throughout the years. I have experience with most ages between newborn and 12. I consider myself an active babysitter since I like to do activities with the kids, like crafts, sports, reading, instead of occupying the children with TV. I also have experience as a camp counselor for teenagers, and currently volunteer with a college bound program to mentor Middletown high school students, and work at an after-school program at a Hartford Public School. I really love working with children, and hope to find new families to babysit for as I am new to the Hartford area.

I recently moved to Hartford after graduating Ithaca College in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in Culture and Communication. Currently I am working in retail part time in the mornings, and at an after-school program teaching 5th and 6th graders in the afternoon. I am also going to UConn in the fall for a Master's in education administration, so I hope to always work with youth. I have found babysitting to be such a rewarding experience in the past, and hope to make lasting connections with families in the future.
