I am a 43year old mother of 3, who is looking to care for your children while my own 8 year old is in school. The daycare in which I had been working as the care giver of 3-5 year olds for almost 2 years closed. Previous to working in the daycare I ran my own in home daycare for 12 years. I have been involved as a volunteer for: Girl Scouts as a Leader (12 years), Pop Warner as a Cheerleading coach mom (5 years), Classroom mom (6 years), PTO member, Cheerleading Parent's group at Torrington High (4 years, 1 being President),etc...
My children and their interests have been very important to me and very rewarding. I have a 23 year old daughter who is a Graduate of Sacred Heart University,working as a maternity nurse at Stamford Hospital, a 20 year old son who is looking to join the United States Army and a very adorable and bright 8 year old daughter who is in 3rd grade.

Kristine helps me three mornings a week with my newborn. She is a huge help not only with my baby but with some light house cleaning. Kristine has a very calm, natural and nurturing way with my baby. Although I don't work outside of the home, I feel totally comfortable leaving my baby with her the times I have left the house. She also has a nice intuitive sense about my baby's well being: she notices things: for example, when she's a little out of sorts or cranky or too warm...things you would want someone watching your child to be noticing. When my baby is awake, Kristine gently engages her and will get her to smile back, coo, etc. While I'm nursing my baby or when she's sleeping, Kristine helps me out with housework. She is a real self-starter and needs hardly any direction. She pretty much knows what to do and will keep busy, even if I haven't asked her to do something.
