I recently moved to DC and am teaching in the city for the 2013-2014 school year. I have 3 years experience teaching Social Studies at the middle school level. I graduated May 2010 from the University of Rhode Island with a double major in Secondary Education and History. I am energetic, friendly, and more than willing to help out in any way with kids or parents. I also have experience as a tutor (reading, math and social studies) and am able to help out with your child's homework if needed. My time is very flexible and can be negotiated on a weekly basis. I also have work experience as management, in an office, and as a camp counselor (overnight and day camp).
