Hi!
I am currently a young professional living in Washington, DC. I work for a Maryland State Senator full time in Annapolis. I am available for babysitting on evenings and weekends though. I absolutely love babies and children and have lots of experience with both through nannying, babysitting, and time with my large extended family. Most recently I was a nanny this past year for a family of 4 kids, ages 4, 6, 11, and 14. I was also a lifeguard for two summers and participated in girl scouts for many years, so I am prepared for any situation!
I love spending time outdoors, swimming, playing, walking and picnicking. I really enjoy doing arts and crafts of all kinds, especially sewing, photography, and anything creative!
I received and renewed my CPR and first aid training from the red cross many times since first lifeguarding, but my CPR certification has expired within the last year. My first aid certification is still up to date. Although I am still very confident in my CPR and first aid knowledge and skills, I plan on renewing soon and if that is a requirement for working for you, I will of course make it happen asap. Molly sits for our 3 girls on a regular basis and the girls LOVE her! She instantly greets them and plays games with the older girls, and comforts our little 17 month old while we say goodbye. Molly gets them all ready and into bed before we get back and in the morning all we hear is great things about her from the girls. She is responsible, easy to talk to, and asks the right questions on the days I am rushed and forget to write it all down. The girls really look forward to her sitting, which makes it easy for us to go out and have a peaceful evening. - Patrick & Laura V.
