I am currently looking for a family or families that need a sitter for date nights.  I have been a full time child care provider for the last 13 years.  I have cared for children from age 2 weeks to age 12.  I have cared for large families as well as small families.  I am currently caring for 5 children age 1 to age 4. I have experience with special needs children also.  I am comfortable around pets as well.  I have 2 dogs, a cat and fish.  I am a very patient person and a very good listener.  I love caring for children and teaching them.  I am currently finishing a degree in Early Childhood Education and am looking forward to graduating on May 20th.  I can speak english and some spanish.  My philosophy is that all children are unique and have their own individual needs.  Children should be carefully observed and listened to so that these needs can be filled.  I believe in giving children healthy meals and snacks because this is important for brain development.  I also believe that it is important for children to get plenty of exercise and TV viewing and video games should be limited to no more than 1 hour per day.  I also believe children under the age of 2 years should not watch TV at all.
