My most recent job was one in which I performed educational shows about dinosaurs for children. It required an extensive amount of training and knowledge as children have many questions and often want to strike up a knowledgeable conversation about what they know. I am very passionate about helping & teaching children.

I have had experience with mentoring a teenager with autism, within a few short weeks she went from communicating with me through pictures and notes to being the only one she would verbally communicate with (other than her mother). One of the boys I've babysat multiple times has been diagnosed with ADD/ADHD. I have a very trusting relationship with both children and know that listening is key.

I am comfortable with a variety of ages from toddler to preteen, boy or girl, 1 child to 3 children, no pets to lots of pets. I am also comfortable driving with children, cooking, some light housekeeping, helping with homework, exercise & staying late nights.

Pets are not a problem! I have 3 dogs of my own (German Shepherd, Chow mix & Spaniel mix). I am very knowledgable about animals when it comes to care and discipline. I'm all about having fun but it's important to put safety first and know that anything with teeth can bite. I also have no allergies to pets.
