Hi, my name is Hannah! I am currently a student at the University of Central Florida majoring in Early Childhood Education. I hope one day to be able to teach kindergarten. Throughout my schooling, I have participated in service learning oportunitities. I have volunteered at the Creative School for Children which is located on the UCF campus. I helped and assitsted the teachers in caring for and teaching the children. I was helping teach kids from ages 2 to 3. In the classroom, there was a diverse group of children and some of the children were bilingual or trilingual. I helped assist during meal times. I have a 7 year old nephew. My nephew stayed with my family and me while he was a toddler. Throughout his stay, I gained the most of my baby sitting experience. I have taken my nephew to various museums, playgrounds, and fun activities such as bounce houses. I have helped feed him and provide care for him whenever he was sick. Also, I helped put him down for naps. Because my sister is physcially disabled, I have greatly aided with the care and transportation of my nephew. The love for my nephew and the time spent with him has helped me to choose my career path! I am a member of the Kappa Delta sorority on campus. We do a variety of community service activites with the Girl Scouts of America and help raise money for Prevent Childhood Abuse America. I have had a pet throughout my childhood and I am willing to take care of a pet. I am very dedicated, reliable, and take my responsiblities very seriously. I have a love for children and I would like to show your children that love!
