First & most importantly, I am a mother. I KNOW how I'd want my children treated, and would treat anyone else's children the same as my expectations would be. I am a stay at home mom looking for part time work to supplement my husbands income. I have 4 children, ages 6 months to 5 years old. I am extremely energetic and love doing hands-on activities with my children. I am very capable of multitasking and make efficient use of my time while still enjoying my time with my family. I have worked in daycare settings (ages 0-4), with afterschool programs (ages 5-10), and with afterschool programs specializing with special needs children (ages 5 to 18). Additionally, I have occasionally babysat aforementioned children of those ages. I also have driven an after school daycare bus, worked at a special needs summer camp, worked with seniors with various illnesses/disabilities and worked with adults with physical handicaps in a nurse's assistant type manner. I feel comfortable with many children at once, as well as those with specific needs that cannot typically be met by a "regular" babysitter.
