I am a recent graduate of Georgia State, and I'm hoping to find a family to help out on a regular basis. I left my job in the nonprofit sector earlier this year because I didn't love the work I was doing. What I love is working with children and finding time to be creative.

I started babysitting when I was twelve years old, watching cousins, neighbors, and friends of the family. Since then I have gained experience watching children of all ages (infants, toddlers, pre-teens, boys and girls) and in various settings. Besides working with families, I also developed and deliver weekly lessons in citizenship and service-learning to 5th graders at Centennial Place Elem, and did similar workshops with students from pre-K to 8th grade. From these experiences, I have a thorough understanding of children's developmental needs and much experience in nurturing growing minds.

Children are a constant joy to work with, especially creative and energetic ones. Growing up, I liked to paint anything I could get my hands on, and I did a lot of scrapbooking as well. I'm just as crafty now (I make jewelry and collages in my spare time), and enjoy teaching kids random craft projects with things lying around the house. I speak French and Italian a lot at home for practice, as well as some Korean, so if you care about your child/ren speaking either of those languages, I'm happy to work with them in this capacity as well.

Finally, I am very flexible to the needs of each family, regarding schedules and sitting styles. I don't expect any child I work with to be an angel, as I have (gladly) worked through challenges with every family I've worked with.
