Hello, my name is Kathy and I am a fifty year young caregiver.  I've been married for thirty years to the same man we have two children both grown, and one granddaughter.  We also have our canine children lol.  Currently I am enrolled in the University of Phoenix and majoring in Elementary Education.  I've worked as a caregiver for years running my own home daycare. Once my children began school I began to work as a paraprofessional at the local schools.  I worked for head start all the way through middle school.  On the side I also worked in our church nursery as well as a preschool teacher.  After my children grew I began to work at a large insurance agency, enjoyed it very much but my true passion is working with children.  I spent the last year home schooling my granddaughter and a providing care for another little girl.  They both entered kindergarten this year. I've been where many of you are caught between the crossroad of daycare? or home care? Each has its benefits and draw backs.  I love to work with children in a safe caring learning environment. An equal amount of play, exercise, and learning leads to a well rounded day.  Add in a nutritious meal and snacks and happy campers they are.  I hope to hear from you soon.
