I have a current background check, MVR report, resume and references I can email.  I am registered on more than 1 care site, and simply cannot afford to pay each site for the same reports.  Please Note, I am NOT available Mon, Wed, and Fri from 12 - 6 pm, nor on Saturdays.  I have permanent Nanny duties on those days/hours, therefore I have changed my profile to Part Time & Date nights only, thank you.

I had originally planned a career in the child care field, yet we had our family first. 
I adore children, and have taken child development and First Aid courses in high school, and have recently renewed my infant, child & adult CPR/AED/First Aid certification. I have been previously employed in an after school Daycare Center, and later as a pre-school/ aftercare teacher at the Marine Corps base while in Kaneohe Hawaii.

I am a healthy 46 years young, have raised two boys, now 23 and 21 years of age. I was a stay at home Mom the first few years of their lives, and enjoyed that very much. We had other babies of the same age in home for care, what fun that was! I truly enjoy interacting with and helping to develop little minds, reading aloud, playing and being creative with the little ones. Being a Mother, I absolutely understand the importance of complete trust in a caregiver. I have been previously bonded, never fired from a position and have completed a background check.
I enjoy being with kids of all ages, but do have a special fondness for infants and toddlers, cuddles and rocking chairs.

At this point in my life, I find more personal as well as professional fulfillment working with children, and or animals rather than an office environment with much less job satisfaction. I am very personable, and easy in nature. My hours are flexible, I have very dependable transportation and pay rate is negotiable.

For the sake of allergy sufferers, I do feel it important to mention that I live with two healthy indoor domestic short hair cats, and am a recovering smoker. ( quit but occasional slips ) and never around children.  Please feel free to mention any allergy issues or concerns. I am also an animal lover, owner to a wide variety over the years, I have no known allergies myself and would not have a problem working with families with pets.
