I have had four nanny jobs in the past. One gave me the joys of helping a mother throughout the day with her three children, ages 4, 8, and 12. I have also had a job that started when the baby was only a week old with a few complications at birth. I cared for this baby and her 1-year-old sister for around four months while the mother went back to work. I sincerely enjoy loving and caring for children of any age; keeping them out from in front of the TV and taking my job seriously. I have taught swimming lessons in the past and coached a number of sports. I competed on a division one collegiate track and cross country team for three and a half years. Playing games and doing crafts of any kind are great fun, and I almost always have the required ingredients handy. The Discovery Center, zoo, and the YMCA are just a few places that I find the children enjoy themselves and learn. Keeping these little ones stimulated and their motor skills involved is essential in this time of life, and I truly love seeing them learn and grow. I want to become a family's new best friend and someone that can be called at any time help with anything!
