I love to devote as much time as possible to playing with and reading to the children. It seems that kids growing up now spend entirely too much time in front of the TV watching cartoons that don't teach them anything at all, except a habit that will continue throughout the rest of their lives. The shows that are decent and/or teach something beneficial are subpar and don't at all measure up to real life experiences. Therefore when I watch children, I play and imagine with them. They have more fun, think more, learn more, and are more ready for bed at bedtime :).

It cannot be said that I have a favorite age for children that I sit for but I really love it when they are young and curious; full of questions and surprises. I love all children and their adventurous souls. However just because I love to play and be adventurous does not by any means signify that I am incapable of tidding house a bit ,making meals, helping with homework or getting a child ready for school in the morning or bed at night. As long as there is a balance of fun and responsiblity everything functions well.

I do have a child of my own his name is Josiah and he is 3 months old. I am a baby wearing mommy and I am very capable of getting plently done while taking care of my little one. As far as questions concerning handling my child and yours are concerned balance is mantained by caring for the most important needs first, not a mattter of my child over yours or vise versa. Your child(ren) are just as important as mine when they are in my care. I have over 10 years of childcare experience with ages as young as newborn to 12 years old, and with needs including High Functioning Autisum, ADD, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, and Hearing Impaired.

I also understand the needs of mothers who like to continue breastfeeding/ pumping for an infant, or who want to cloth diaper. I can help you to acheive those goals.
