My name is Patricia, I'm looking for permanet and part time job and/or weekends (8am to 5pm or flexible hours), I am open to work full time too it depent of the family. I have a lot experience with babies and newborns, I really love them. I know how to play with children, how to teach them, how to make them laugh , how to make them sleep. I can be fun and also an educator to them. I will never stay with them all day in front of the TV, I want to be more than a babysitter I want to be a person you can trust your children to educate at home,to teach them good manners, to teach them to respect for older people, to take care of them, to enjoy time with them, to be their friend. If you give me the opportunity I can assure you will not regret. In summer 2001 I have prepared for the au pair program and worked with small children. I was practicing at a kindergarten and was looking for children of 1 and 2 years old. I helped the teacher with her duties, such as: playing with the children, caring them, feeding them, changing dippers, cleaning them, teaching them, excersing, etc. In August 2002 I lived with a wonderful American host family they have 2 children they were 2 and 4 years old. I used to prepare breakfast, after that I took them to the park or play games at home. They cannot watch TV. So I gave them some activities to do like read a book, paint, dance, or play with different toys. It was my responsibility put order in the bedroom, bathroom, playroom and kitchen when they finally breakfast or lunch. I didn'tt make laundry but I organized the clothes in the closet. When I finished my Au Pair program I moved to Chicago downtown because I had to attend School, at this time I started to work part time with a very nice lady who have 2 children who are 3 and 4 years old. They are very nice children my principal duties are, picked up they from day care and brought to house, sometimes when the weather permitted I took them to the park for few minutes, walked around house or play outside; then I make some dinner usually the mother left me some food for they, they enjoy watching his movies (at this time the are able to watch tv because was end of the day) before to took bath, they really really loved to read theirs books and finally I put they to bed. Usually I did babysitter to Saturday and Sunday overnight One of my part time job was other very nice lady who also have 2 children they are 2 and 5 years old. The children are very gentle and love activities. The girl is very active she love to spent her time playing out the house biking, doing gymnastic or visiting her friends around her neighborhood, they live in condominium. Her brother who is 2 years old is very sweetie and he love to watch Barney he also like to drive his little car. Also I have experience with babies they are 6, 2, and 3 moths, I will mention one of my experiences. I will talk about the baby who actually is 14 months bud I met him when he was 2 months. I can said that I love the baby and I think he really like me, all time that he see me he is smiling and laughing, he really make me day happy. I spend all my afternoon with him and I fed with bottle of milk (every 3 hours), baby food, cheerios, some cheese or turkey (lunch or dinner), baby's cookies (snack); changed her clothes if it is necesary, changed diapers (usually every 2 hours), played with a ball ("soccer"), play little piano, catch ball, play with toys, clapped, etc; exercised (he was learning to walk); gove bath every day and finally I put him to bed. It are my usually activities whit him. Also I cleaned up after lunch or dinner, play or any activities, I organized his closet, wash his clothes if he needed. He also have a sister and brother who are 4 and 6 years old when the baby is taking a nap I usually spend my time amking proyect with them. I studied First Aid last year it is a course from Red Cross, I am able to drive, I don't have any allergy also I will provide references. If you are interested please let me know. Sincerely
