I live in the South loop with my husband and 2-year-old son. I'll be looking to help out another family in need of a loving babysitter/nanny beginning September of 2012. I have been in the nannying, babysitting and caregiving profession for a total of 5 years in between going to school to obtain my college and MA degrees. I have been a nanny and babysitter to children from the ages of 3 months-13 years old, including twins. Additionally, I have caregiving experience I gained while working with a lovely paraplegic woman for a year and also with an elderly man who had Parkinson's disease and dementia. Lastly, I have experience working with teens when I worked as a house manager of a group home through a mental health provider group in our area. 

Some of the activities I include in each day are getting outside as much as possible, healthy eating at meal-time and snacks, play-time, going to park, reading, scheduled naps and light housework. I live right in the south loop on Michigan Ave so I am not far from many attractions such as Millennium Park and Navy Pier. I provide a safe, fun, clean and nurturing environment.
