Hi my name is Amanda and here is a little information about myself!  I have a lot of experience caring for children. I've been a preschool teacher for the Burbank Park District for the last 8 years and I am still on staff as a substitute. I've also ran an after-school program for an elementary school, I've worked in daycares, summer camps, summer school, basically any job that involves children. I have my associates degree with a certification in early childhood education. I have 2 daughters aged 6 and 2. I started babysitting out of my home 6 years ago and love it. I've teamed up with my sister who is also a stay at home mom and comes to my house to help me out or to fill in for me. Teaming up with my sister has really worked out nice because she's my back up so you wouldn't ever have to worry about your sitter calling off with the two of us! We would treat your child as if he/she were our own. I currently babysit for 3 families now, however I do have one that is leaving soon due to a job transfer so I was looking to take one more. As a mother I know how hard it is to find childcare I've been there, especially trusting someone off the internet.
