I am an extremely compassionate person! I love children and can relate to all ages and energy. My style is very relaxed but not lazy. I am a strong believer in boundaries and rules. I believe children should be free to make their own decisions (within reason and safety), in order to help their personalities and sense of self growth. I have a very silly sense of humor and love to make children laugh as well as encourage them to explore their sense of humor. I will not and never have used physical means of discipline. I will not work in a home where this is practiced or expected of me. I want a family where I can have an open and respectful line of communication in order to develop a trusting environment. I am fluent in German and would be more than willing to speak German with the children.

Started babysitting at age 11. I begged my mom to sign me up for a safe-sitter course through a local hospital. My half-brother was born when I was 13 and I loved to take care of him and babysit for him.
