As a teen, I babysat full time (outside school) and was eagerly sought after for my services. I had fun with the kids, not just "watch" them. Later in college, I took on a position at a local Church Day Care in the infant department. I loved the closeness of this position! I became a childcare provider for a local recreation commission to attend the children while mommies were busy exercising. Both the kids and the mothers loved my care. I am a mother of five, all but one grown and flown the nest. I have home schooled, worked with Vacation Bible School, and was a camp counselor both for church and 4-H. I am an art graduate and love to teach arts and crafts to children and have done so for 4-H and at a few local recreation commissions. A child's mind and creative talents/expressions as well as physical activity, in my opinion, far surpass the era of video games and constant inundating of movies, cartoons, and television programming. I also love to play board games with the kids! Pets are great and no concern, for I have four  dogs and two birds. I am a current online college student as well. I have experience with children with physical handicaps (my daughter) and those with learning disabilities and ADHD/ODD/OCD. I am stern but compassionate and loving. I think the Jo, the SuperNanny, is pretty darn super! I dedicate my undivided attention to kids' care on all levels. P.S. While I have had CPR training, and am confident in how to preform if necessary (my duaghter is disabled), it has been a while since my certification.
