I have been caring for children of all ages on and off by myself for about five years. I currently watch a 22 month old, since last August, but her mom is taking the summer off and will no longer need me. I cared for three little girls ages 6 months, 2 years and 4 years old for a year until they unfortunately moved away (they moved back so I occasionally watch them also). I then watched three other children last summer ages 1. 5, 5 and 7. Prior to those jobs I worked in the child care part of the YMCA and had done occasional baby sitting since I was 13. I have always loved children and babies since I was little and couldn't wait to be old enough to baby-sit! My mom was a labor and delivery nurse for years and would take me in to see all the newborns at the hospital when I was younger, she is now a nurse practitioner in cardiology at Children's Mercy so I think I got a lot of my love for kids from her.

5 Years as a Babysitter
I first started really watching children in the child watch at the YMCA. I then watched three little girls for a year ages infant, 2 and 3. Last summer I watched three kids ages 14 months, 5 and 7. I currently watch a 22 month old since August.
