I started as a mother's helper when I was just 9 years old, for a family with a newborn down the street.  Over the years, I have worked with children all ages, and believe that my mix of patience, creativity and listening skills make me a wonderful sitter that kids of all ages look forward to spending time with.

I am a college graduate who also has experience in hospitality. I am CPR and Red Cross Chokesaver certified, in addition I also have first aid and food/health safety certification and experience. I work am active and hands on with the kids, like a personal day care for your child. From reading, teaching and running around the park WITH your kids, not playing on my cell phone!

An example of my experience includes time spent as a nanny for a mother on bed rest in her 3rd trimester.  While the father was traveling for work, I tending to the 2 year old and 11 year old boys, cooking breakfast and dinner, going to and from tennis lessons and summer camp, while managing the household and attending summer college courses.  My savvy street smarts helped to navigate strollers on the subways and streets of NYC, and my innate sense of preparation taught me to always have snacks and activities within reach!
