I am a 2010 graduate of Northwestern University, having double majored in Psychology and Art Theory & Practice. This fall I will be attending Boston College Law School. During my four years in undergrad, I volunteered in many organizations that involved tutoring students in afterschool programs, interacting with children with learning disabilities, and leading a volunteer site at a nursing home. I have 9 years of tutoring experience, teaching students from the ages of 4 through 17 in math, science, geography, writing, literature, and history. I have counseled and prepped junior high students for entrance into the International Baccalaureate (IB) program and high school students for the SAT, with a rigorous focus on grammar and essay writing. I highly enjoy working with kids and developing curriculum for individualized instruction of my students. I have been living in Boston for a year now. I absolutely love animals, as I have one dog. In my spare time, I enjoy leisure reading, working on artwork, and volunteering at a homeless shelter downtown.
