Hello All,
My name is Jaclyn Roberts, I am an energetic, outgoing female that is 21 years of age. I'm Lincoln-Sudbury graduate and a rising junior at Lesley University. At Lesley I have a two majors, Elementary Education and English with a specialization in Special Education. I have a variety of work experience in the field of child care. I have worked as a counselor at three day camps. I was a tutor for ELL (english language learner) students whom needed homework help after school because their parents were non-english speakers. Teachers assistant in five schools for a year-six month long time spans including the Maria L. Baldwin Elementary School, theFletcher-Maynard Academy (both in Cambridge, MA), the Israel Loring Elementary School (Sudbury,MA). I first realized my passion for teaching and child-care when I taught english in Thailand, and worked in a Thai orphanage for 2 months. Here I discovered that my passion in life is to combine laughter with learning in an environment that is both physically and emotionally safe. I hope I can bring my passion and positivity to your family!
