My name is Lauren. I'm currently a senior at Bridgewater State University. Starting in may, i will be 100% available. During the semester, I have one family that I babysit for regularly with 3 kids ranging in age from 8-12 Monday thru Thursday 6:45-8:45 am. My duties include waking up, feeding, packing lunch, and making sure the kids are ready for school and that they all get on their buses. On a non-regular basis I babysit for a two year old girl, and twin 5 year old boys, and in the past I’ve had other families with children varying in age. I myself do not have any children, just a dog (soft-coated wheaten terrier-doesn't shed). I'm a sister of Gamma Phi Beta and am active in community service. I have some knowledge of the Spanish language- not fluent but i can usually figure out how to say what i need to say :) I've been an employee at the west suburban YMCA in Newton, ma since I was 15 (June 2005) in various areas of the childcare department. Some of my experience includes the "babysitting room" where a child ranging from 3 months thru 10years can be dropped off while their parent or guardian works out. I also worked in the elementary aged after school program during the 2007-2008 school year. I've worked at Camp Polliwog every summer since 2006, and in 2011 I was the 5 and 6 year old coordinator.  I’m CPR, First Aid, blood-borne pathogens, and child abuse prevention trained.  I love arts and crafts and don't fear messes- they can always be cleaned up :) I also enjoy playing outside, and going to the park.
