I have had years of experience with taking care of young children because I thoroughly enjoy spending time with kids, playing with them, and teaching them new things. I grew up as an only child, so being around other children has been such a pleasure to me and as I grew up, I loved babysitting and nannying. I have two Golden Retriever dogs and a cat back at home and I do not have any children. I am currently going to school now at the University of New Hampshire to become an Occupational Therapist and want to work in the school setting so I can specifically make changes in children's lives. By watching my cousins and family friends kids, I have gained a lot of knowledge on how to take care of children properly. I am very capable of entertaining children and helping them with any sorts of things whether it is homework, eating, or simply just tying their shoes. I have usually babysat children ages 3-11, but I am very flexible when it comes to age. My favorite age range, however, would be anywhere from 3-8 and I love to babysit both girls and boys. Occupational Therapy has also prepared me to care for kids under certain circumstances and accomodate for every child's needs.
