My name is Amanda. I am a 29 year old college graduate. I have experience with children of all ages, children and adults with special needs and disabilities, the elderly, pets and homes. My mother ran an in-home daycare while I was growing up so I was always around children. When I was 13 I started babysitting and continued to do so until I left for college. During my years in college I was a nanny for two different families. Both families had a child with special needs, as well as other children. I was responsible for taking care of the children, cooking, helping with homework, creating activities to do, drive them where they needed to be, and some light housekeeping as well. I was also a lifeguard during the summers from the time I was 15 until I was 21. I also taught children and adults how to swim and about water safety. I worked in an enviorment that catered to children and adults with special needs as well. I have training in CPR, First Aid, and I am a Certified Medical Technition through the Maryland Board of Nursging. I am passionate about taking care of people of all ages.
