I have babysat for various people over the years. My last babysitting job was in Gaithersburg after school. I had helped a set of working parents who had 2 children after they came home from school. When the kids were sick and stayed home from school I would go to their house for the day. I have 5 kids of my own ages ranging from 24, 22, 21, 16 and 12. My three boys are in their 20's and my 2 girls are still teenagers. I use the tactic of Parenting with Love and Logic raising my kids and it is a successful way of dealing with all children of all ages. While I was in Colorado I took the Parenting with Love and Logic to help me become a better parent and it is a successful tactic of getting children, teens and adolescence to become well adjusted people. Children are people too and I always talk to them at their eye level, I never have them look up at me while having conversations. I love all kids good and bad.
