My name is Lam, and I have 3 years of experience caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. Currently, I am a full time nanny for a family with a 2 and a 4 years old. 

Employment history: 

Summer 2012: I was a teaching assistant for JHU-CTY summer school at Chestertown , MD.    08/2011 - 06/2011: I was a nanny for an 8 month old little baby boy in Canton.    Summer 2006: I helped my brother looking after his three children (an infant, a toddler, and a preschooler). At the same time, I was also looking after the children during Sunday Church Service at the First Presbyterian Church.     Education:  I earned my Master's degree in Forensic Science last May 2012, and getting into a 4 years Ph.D program in 2013.    I am CPR/First aid certified, with a clean driving record, and I have complete (Basic and Advance) background checks with available reference from my current employment upon requested.    I love my job and try my best though many fun activities (critical thinking/ crafting projects) to connect with chilren.

Discripline Philosophy: Training the chil with 3 steps: Warning, time-out, and separation. 
I expect manners to be used when necessary such as: excuse me, sorry, please, thank you, and welcome. 
My overall goal is to raise a child with strong self-esteem, substantial character, a healthy self-respect, as well as respect for others, and hopefully a good sense of humor.
