I am the oldest of three children and started babysitting at the age of 13.  This led me to becoming a nanny in Seattle when I was 18 and later in Ann Arbor.  In Ann Arbor I worked with one family for a year before they moved to Washington D.C.  They had a set of twins (a boy and a girl) and the boy suffered from autism spectrum disorder as well as learning and hearing impairment.  After they moved I began working for their neighbors who I worked for until moving to Detroit this past summer.  They had 3 children who are now aged 5, 7, and 11.  I was with them for over 3 years so I was able to form an attachment to them and really experience and influence them in their formative years.  In addition to this more permanent experiences, I've also babysat occasionally for a variety of families.  I have worked with every age group and also have experience in sitting for large groups of children.
