I love being around children.  They are so much fun and inventive-they just make me laugh.  I began babysitting when I was in highschool and I loved it!  I have been a camp counselor for children 11-12 years of age and I have babysat for many babies and toddlers. Two of the girls I used to babysit were actually flower girls in my wedding!  The more I worked with children, the more I wanted to be around them.  I decided that I wanted to be a children's pastor so I spent a summer shadowing a children's minister.  I was in charge of field trips, arranging activities and crafts, leading bible studies and calling and getting to know the parents.  I went to Cornerstone University and got a degree in Educational Ministries but never found a job using my education.  I became a nurse's assistant because I love working with people but am now looking for a change of pace.  My husband and I are expecting our first child and I would love to start being around children again.  I am willing to drive, run errands, cook, clean and take care of family pets as long as your child and I have fun.  I do not like to stick children in front of a television all day so I encourage children to use their imaginations and play.
