I've babysat for just about 9 years for multiple families with multiple children. I love working with and meeting new children. I don't mind cooking simple meals for the children or even providing some homework help every now and again. If it's nice outside, I love being allowed the opportunity to take the kids outside for a nice walk or to play at a playground to encourage activity. I'm currently in the process of helping a family potty-train their 3 year old, so I've got experience in that field, as well. I'm not especially inclined to do housework while babysitting (such as laundry, vacuuming, etc.), but I will always be sure to clean up after myself and any possible mess myself and the children make together. I don't usually mind transporting children anywhere as long as I have parent's approval and the appropriate car seat. I enjoy working with newborns and toddlers mostly, but children up to age 12 are always a blast to meet. I'm also CPR/AED certified, First Aid certified, Lifeguarding for the Professional Rescuer certified, Water Safety Instructor Certified, and EMT-Basic certified. I'm looking for consistent families that I can develop a long-term relationship with by babysitting on those night parents just want to have a night to themselves.
