I'm the full-time nanny for a family with children aged 5/3/8mos. I'm centrally located and I have availability in the evenings for date nights, and any time Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

I am certified in First Aid, Infant/Child CPR, and Shaken Baby Syndrome; I have had a three-hour training on carseat use and general safety practices for driving with children in the car and I have a perfect driving record. To sum up what to expect from me-- I am the oldest of five, and my four siblings are all much younger, so I was pretty much a live-in nanny during my adolescence and remained their caregiver much of the time into my twenties. Because of this, I care for children with a loving, responsible older-sister vibe. I genuinely love to hang out with children and listen to them, be silly, read books, sing, play catch and soccer outside, go for walks or to the park, have dance parties, draw pictures, and-- most popular --allow them to hurl themselves at me, chase me, crawl all over me, and fall on the floor giggling :)

I believe that my role as a nanny or babysitter is maintaining diligent watch over the children to ensure their personal safety and comfort, interacting with children in a way that creates a positive association with learning and looking for every opportunity to encourage learning and development, and supporting the family by assisting with toy organization, the kitchen and the laundry.
