I have been nannying for 6 years during which I have had various families doing both permanent and on call jobs. I am very experienced in working with children and enjoy the work as well. When everyone is having fun together it really doesn't seem like a job. That is what I love most. In most cases I care for the children, take children places, cook, and can do light cleaning to heavy cleaning depending on circumstances. I am dependable and very easy to work with! 

I have done everything from simple sitting to helping with homework after school and driving children to necessary locations to just playing games and having fun. 

Safety is a big deal to me. If I ever feel the child is doing something that could seriously harm them I am immediately on it. However, I am not overbearing. I know children will be children, (I have two crazy nephews!) I also feel that making sure the children are happy on various levels is important. Be it in playtime, school, or just in general. 

I know trusting people with your children can seem a bit scary at times, but I can assure you that there would be nothing to worry about while I took care of your children. I like to have fun playing board games, going outside, coloring, doing arts and crafts, baking, and any other games the children like to come up with! Those  are usually my favorite since they involve the most imagination. While I do like to have fun I am not a push over. If fighting, hitting, arguing or anything like that occur I will address it. I also generally try to make sure the house remains clean. Any mess made while under my care would be cleaned up. So if we play games, and crafts the children and I will make sure everything gets put away neatly. This also goes for any dishes used. I love to sing, write songs, write books, and other things and look forward to sharing this with your children as well!

*UPDATE* (January 9, 2012)

My current job began June 2011. It is a job I have found myself to be so fortunate to have gotten. My nanny kids are two adorable twins boy/girl, and my bosses are some of the most giving and compassionate people I have ever met. This job was 10 hours long 5 days a week with occasional weekends and overnights. It included everything from playing, cooking, and light laundry to potty training! They will be moving soon and so I will be sadly moving on to another hopefully just as amazing family.
