I started babysitting my younger cousin Zachary (who is 12 now) when I was 13. Since then I have consistently babysat for various families whom I met through church or through other clients/family/aquaintences. I was a nanny for an 18month old and a 5 year old with cognitive deficits for a summer. The most children I have been in charge of at once is 10 (they were all 2 +), but in a nursery, there have been 8 babies and only 2 adults, so I'm flexible with multiple ages at once. All last year I worked at a camp that serviced special needs children. I often interacted with them, and was a counselor when they needed a sub.
