She was a quick response to my first e-mail to her and we made an appointment to meet and she never called me back. She never showed up and I e-mailed her again to make sure she was ok and once again no response back. - Emilie S.

I am undergoing recovery from having my thyroid removed, therefore would be unable to meet your babysitting needs. It was an emergency surgery due to discovering papillary cancer in my thyroid. Amy agreed to watch our kids on saturday. We requested to meet her first because we just use precautions when it comes to our children. We agreed to meet friday a day before. She said that after she drops her child off she can come by. So I stopped looking for sitters once she agreed to watch our kids. I was going to send her my address tonight after work & got a message from her canceling. The reason she canceled was because her husband was invited to a BBQ. Seriously!!! So unprofessional of her to back out last minute! We work alot on weekends due to our jobs! She has put us in a bind to scramble and find a last minute sitter. We will never use this girl! We are very understanding but not with things like this. If you say you can watch someone's children,then follow through. It's really hard to find reliable sitters and people like Amy make it even harder. - Michelle B.

Amy says: This was in a 48 hour span of time. It wasn't like I didn't show up or didn't notify her. The incredibly obscene message you sent was quite enough but this doesn't surprise me either. It takes a special kind of rude to get this worked up over a sitter having an important occasion arise. It was my husband's MSgt and we could not just back out. He's a Cpl and we have never been invited there before. I'm sorry you're in bind but like I said, good luck finding a new sitter.

Amy came over to my house to babysit on 04-20-13, she came before to meet us first and then was able to babysit 5 children under the age of 4 (hers, mine and a friend's) for 5 hours and still I came home and the kids were fed and the house was clean.
