My philosophy is basically to follow the parents lead. I do not buy my daughter a lot of sweats and feel they should be limited.
I believe in playing with the children. Children should feel they are valued as people. And playing with them lets them know that you do.
Television should be limited too, especially for the toddler and younger. Reading is vitally important in that over 85% of real learning occurs before the age of five.
So limiting TV, reading, and talking with the children will help to increase their verbal skills
So if I am hired, I will encourage play, reading to create the most optimum environment for the children.
