I am a part-time babysitter who loves the energy and imagination of children.  I have been pursuing a broadcasting and acting career since I graduated college in 2003, but for part-time work I have been a babysitter for many families and friends.

I first started babysitting when I was 14 because I had three younger boy cousins living next door to me.  I would keep them when my aunt had to run errands, and I fell in love with rocking and holding babies.  There is nothing more precious to me than holding a sweet innocent child beginning his or her journey in this life.  I believe it is pertinent to always be loving and tender with children of all ages because it is a crucial factor in making  them feel secure,unique, and valued.

During college, I began to babysit overnight and on weekends.  I cooked meals, helped with homework, drove kids to school, and bathed them too.  I also became a camp counselor and lifeguard for summer church camp in Virginia.  I took care of kids form infants to middle schoolers, and I enjoyed being a positive influence in their lives.  

In my free time, I love to read, hike, watch movies, go to live shows, and try different restaurants.  My husband and I travel together when he is not deployed with the Marine Corps.  We hope to have a family of our own in the near future, but for now I am satisfied to give other kids plenty of TLC.
