Hi! My name is Heather and I am 24 years old. I graduated from UNK in December 2009 with a B.S. in Family Studies and minors in Special Education and Social Work. I recently finished Massage Therapy school in Omaha. I love working with children and hope to do so in my future career. I want to work with children who have mobility disabilities and help them have as much functioning as possible through the use of massage.
I have been babysitting for families for over 10 years and enjoy making sure the children have a fun and safe environment to play in. I want the children to be able to have fun, but also make it a learning environment. I love being able to take the kids to the park, stay in and bake/make something with the kids, or color and play games with them. I also enjoy reading aloud to children or having them read to me if they want to.

Tried on 2 separate occasions to set a date and time for interview/sitting. She took almost 3 weeks for a response from the initial inquiry, gave the benefit of the doubt to her, then took about a week to respond again. If this is any representation of how responsible and on time she would be for a job, I am not willing or able to take that risk. I have not met with or actually used her as a sitter, so cannot comment on her skills in that capacity. - Amy A.
