Hi! My name is Kelly and I graudated from Colby-Sawyer College in 2008. I recieved my Bachelor of Science degree in Child Development. Currently I pursuring my Masters Degree in Education at Franklin Pierce University.

I am an experienced, fun, caring, professional individual with a love for children. During my education at Colby-Sawyer I had many opportunities to work with children and design and implement, fun, developmentally appropriate lessons and actvities based on the needs and interests of the kids I was working with. Working in the lab school on campus I completed over 160 hours of practicum experience with pre-school aged children. I also completed my student teaching in the fall of 2007 in a first grade classroom, making the Dean's List.

For the past three years i have worked as assistant Kindergarten teacher. I have sinced changed schools and I am now a lead Kindergarten teacher at a private school. I am very excited to be taking on the role of having my own classroom! 

I am very open-minded and respect all children and their unique and fun personalities, as well as their needs.

I am active, creative and enthusiastic! I love partaking in fun, hands on activites such as arts and crafts with children as well as outdoor activities where they can explore, investigate and learn more about their enviornment.

I am a commited individual, one who is eager to continue learning more about the field. I have attended a number of conferences and workshops on child development, child abuse etc. as part of my professional development.
