I am a 23 year old graduate from the College of Saint Rose, with a Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders (Speech Pathology) through which I have learned much about speech/language disorders as well childhood development.  I have lived in New Hartford all of my life (aside from college in Rochester and Albany) and attended New York Mills School from kindergarten to 12th grade.  I love children and have been around them my entire life.  I've been like a second mother to my little sister since she was born when I was three, and around the age of 14 started babysitting for neighbors, friends of neighbors, and friends of family.  I've learned a lot from the children I have cared for, and continue learning from them every day.  I'm not a sitter who just sits and watches the children, I enjoy interacting with them by playing and creating games, bringing crafts, reading books, and playing outside.
